Hugging her lithe figure, the garment cinched in at her tiny waist and flared out into a full length skirt with mesh insets.

The glittering gown was adorned with strings of sequins that dazzled beneath the stage lights and complemented her silver barely-there heels.

Leona completed the look by wearing her curly locks loose, pinned away from her pretty features by an oversized glittering hair clip.

Leona was drafted in as a guest judge on the series, joining Simon Cowell and Nicole Scherzinger, who had hosted the initial auditions alone.

X Factor: The Band’s grand final saw girl group Real Like You crowned the winners following a nail-biting final.

The group, made up of Kellimarie Willis, Luena Martinez, Seorsia Leagh Jack, Halle Williams, Jess Folley and Virginia Hampson beat boy band Unwritten Rule on Sunday night.

As host Dermot O’Leary announced the result, the girls screamed and jumped in shock before tearfully hugging each other.

Meanwhile, Real Like You singer Seorsia Leagh Jack emotionally told Dermot: ‘Oh my god! I’m so overwhelmed by happiness right now.’

They then performed their original track, Be Like Them, written by Kellimarie as they closed the show.

Their winning performance was soon interrupted by their proud families, who rushed on the stage to congratulate them as they sang.

The girls emerged as early favourites throughout the two-hour show as they wowed with impressive performances of Destiny’s Child’s Independent Woman and Demi Lovato’s Sorry Not Sorry.

They also sent the audience wild with their third song of the night – a mash-up of Ariana’s Problem and The Weeknd’s I Can’t Feel My Face.

Following the first performance of original track Be Like You, songwriter Kellimarie broke down in tears as she spoke about what they lyrics meant to her.

The 17-year-old said: ‘I wrote that because I didn’t feel like I fitted in with any of the friends that I had.

‘And it’s for any of you who feel like you don’t fit in.’

Meanwhile the boys, made up Boaz Dopemu, Caius Duncombe, Fred Roberts, Harrison Cole, Jed Thomas and Reece Wilshire-Fessey put up a noble fight.

As well as performing their own original song, they also belted out Billie Eilish’s Bad Guys and Dance Monkey by Tones and I.

They also sang a version of Ellie Goulding’s hit Love Me Like You Do.
